Strengthened Mid-West Gold Exploration Platform
The acquisition of Auric North Pty Ltd establishes a second district-scale gold exploration platform across Western Australia’s Mid-West region.
The portfolio comprises a contiguous land position within established Archean gold deposits, combining drill-ready targets with broader structural corridors and underexplored greenstone belts.
This addition expands our footprint across proven gold districts while maintaining a disciplined and cost-effective capital structure.
Portfolio Overview
A balanced pipeline across near-term targets and district-scale corridors
Near-Surface Gold Target with Historical Drill Support
Located approximately 6 km from the Deflector Gold Mine, Deflector North is considered prospective for near-surface gold mineralisation based on historical drilling and structural interpretation.
Widespread Gold Anomalism with Fresh Rock Potential
Situated approximately 150 km northwest of Meekatharra and adjacent to Westgold’s Fortnum Operations, Peak Hill contains widespread air-core gold anomalism with fresh rock untested.
Historical drilling includes:
- 10m @ 1.43 g/t Au from 65m (incl. 5m @ 2.7 g/t Au)
- 5m @ 0.25 g/t Au from 75m
These results establish a basis for immediate follow-up, subject to technical assessment.
Large-Scale Structural Corridor Adjacent to Major Gold System
A combined ~14,500-hectare land position along strike from the >5 Moz Big Bell system, incorporating a mapped ~9 km shear-zone extension that remains largely untested by drilling.
Extensive Greenstone Corridor in Underexplored Setting
A ~26,500-hectare package covering approximately 40 km of greenstone belt, representing longer-term exploration potential within a largely underexplored setting.
Strategic Context
As a platform, Auric North provides exposure to a second exploration district in a region defined by:
- Operating gold mills and established infrastructure
- Major shear systems with demonstrated gold endowment
- Ongoing consolidation across quality greenstone belts
The portfolio broadens the exploration pipeline across near-term drilling opportunities and longer-dated district-scale targets.
Next Steps
With the acquisition complete, work will centre on systematic technical review and prioritisation across the portfolio.
Initial focus includes advancing drill-ready targets at Peak Hill and Deflector North, while progressing structural interpretation and geochemical assessment across the Big Bell corridor and Boodanoo greenstone belt.
